DIY Maxi Dress Tutorial | Supplies | Fabric

I used this ponte fabric I purchased from Joann's. It's not the best quality ponte but it was on sale so I made it work. The Roma Ponte I used for my High Low Peplum Tutorial here was a much better quality. I used a total 6 1/2 yards to make my dress but the amount of fabric will vary based on your measurements. If you use this or any fabric that stretches 1 way only, make sure you place and cut your pattern pieces accordingly.

Sewing Machine and/or Serger
Freezer Paper(to draft your pattern)
Marking chalking/pen/marker

Measuring tape
Pattern Board(optional but helpful)
Thread
Seam Ripper
Zipper(optional)
